Her body was sent over 40 feet from the impact of the car, shattering her pelvis, hip, and some internal organs. Thanks to the quick actions of a bystander, CPR was performed immediately, and 911 was called, saving her life.Following the crash, Ashly underwent an extensive 10 hour surgery to try to repair some of the damage.
