Poppy Appeal coffee morning
Brampton War Memorial — The Brampton Branch of the Royal British Legion is hosting a Poppy Appeal coffee morning at the Moot Hall on Saturday 8 November from 9.30am to 11.30am, featuring a prize draw and auction to raise funds for the annual appeal.
Remembrance Sunday parade and service
Brampton War Memorial — On Remembrance Sunday, the community will gather for a parade and service. Participants should assemble by the Moot Hall at 2.30pm for the march down Front Street to St Martin's Church, where a service will begin at 3pm.
Wreath laying at Brampton War Memorial Hospital
Prior to the parade, wreaths will be laid at Brampton War Memorial Hospital at 2pm, honouring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Poppy cascade display
Brampton War Memorial — The parish council has once again erected the beautiful poppy cascade at the Moot Hall. A spokesperson said: "Every one of the fallen, local to Brampton, is named on the cascade, ensuring that each hero is remembered individually... If you’re passing, take a moment to pause to remember them all, with gratitude and with pride."
